1. Who we are
RecurrIQ is operated by CacheOps LLC (“CacheOps”, “we”, “our”, “us”). For personal data we process to provide RecurrIQ, CacheOps acts as the data controller. You can reach us at privacy@recurriq.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account information: name, email address, hashed password, and any profile details you provide.
- Content and usage data: the subscription data, settings, and other content you submit to the Service, plus usage and telemetry data such as feature interactions and error logs.
- Support communications: messages you send to our support team and related metadata.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, language, and timestamps.
- Billing-related identifiers: limited information we receive from Paddle to link your subscription to your account (such as customer ID, plan, and subscription status). Payment instrument details (card numbers, etc.) are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.
3. How and why we use personal data
- Provide the Service — create and authenticate your account, deliver features, and store your content. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Billing and subscription management — coordinate with Paddle to fulfil your order and manage your subscription. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Security and fraud prevention — monitor for abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Product improvement — analyze usage to improve features and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Customer support — respond to your requests. Legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- Legal compliance — comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests. Legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Who we share personal data with
- Service providers and subprocessors we rely on to operate the Service, including cloud hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics providers.
- Paddle.com Market Ltd. and its affiliates, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payments, subscription management, invoicing, sales tax, and refunds. Paddle’s own privacy notice is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
- Professional advisers such as our lawyers and accountants, where reasonably needed.
- Authorities and other third parties where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
5. International transfers
We and our service providers may process personal data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) for international transfers.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this notice or as required by law. Account data is kept for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and security obligations. Billing records retained by Paddle are governed by Paddle’s own retention rules.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to request portability of your data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@recurriq.com. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords for your account.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, limited to what is necessary to run the Service (for example, keeping you signed in) and basic analytics to understand product usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.
10. Children
RecurrIQ is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-app notice). The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
